Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Travel RN | Aurora, CO
Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract
This night-shift PCU position is based in Aurora, CO, on a progressive care unit with a strong cardiac focus. The unit serves a diverse patient population with both acute and chronic medical conditions, and travel RNs are expected to float across medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units as needed.
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 24, 2026
Clinical Scope
- Progressive care patients with significant cardiac volume
- Float coverage across telemetry and inpatient med/tele and rehab units
- Varied acuity including both acute and chronic medical presentations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Flexibility and willingness to float across units
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on the oncology unit)
