Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work the night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM). This is a fast-paced environment treating patients across the full acuity spectrum—from urgent care and psych to pediatric and critical care/trauma cases.

Clinical Responsibilities

As an ED nurse, you'll manage critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tube management. You'll coordinate and deliver comprehensive care to patients with complex nursing needs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

• Current RN license in your state/district
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BLS & ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
• BSN highly desired

Location & Schedule

Aiken, SC | 3 nights per week | 7 PM – 7 AM | Must reside within 100 miles of the facility

Contract Details

13-week assignment starting June 1, 2026. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
