Operating Room Nurse – Circulator
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR Nurse with circulating expertise to join the surgical team. You'll provide intraoperative and postoperative care in a busy surgical environment serving patients aged 7 to 100.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
- Monday–Thursday schedule offers predictable work-life balance
Clinical Scope
You'll circulate cases in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry. Responsibilities include:
- Intraoperative patient care and monitoring
- Postoperative/PACU care (training provided if needed)
- Collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Instrument and supply management
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proven circulating experience in the OR
- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with general surgery, orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, or podiatry cases
- Prior travel nursing experience
- PACU experience (not required; training available)
