Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join the team under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist and Cardiologist.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No set day off
• Evening and weekend on-call for emergency procedures
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• Hands-on proficiency with Impella, IABP, and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to independently interpret telemetry strips and pass the telemetry exam (85% or higher) on day 1
• MA RT(R) license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• RCIS certification preferred
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and data recording
• Assist with radiologic operations and patient preparation for invasive cardiac procedures
• Maintain quality imaging standards and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Complete daily calibration and maintenance of imaging equipment
• Prepare and complete patient billing documentation
• Maintain continuing education requirements
• Uphold hospital confidentiality, security, and professional standards
