Facility Overview

The facility's rehabilitation unit serves inpatient and outpatient populations with a strong focus on orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, and cardiac cases.

Position Details

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday–Saturday

Contract: 13 weeks

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Orientation: 1.5 days of department-specific training

Clinical Scope

You'll work across multiple care settings:

  • Inpatient Rehab: Up to 13 patients per day—orthopedic, post-surgical, neuro, trauma, and cardiac cases
  • Outpatient: Up to 9 patients per day—orthopedic and neurological focus
  • Rehab Unit: Neurological, spinal cord injury, and trauma populations

You may float to assigned areas as needed. Rehab aides and therapy support staff (typically 2) will be available to assist.

Requirements

  • Valid state PT or PTA license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience
  • Travel experience and trauma experience preferred
  • Candidates with inpatient clinical background may be considered with less than one year of direct experience

What to Expect

  • Dress code: Maroon polo shirt, dark pants, closed-toed shoes (lab coat optional)
  • Charting via facility EHR system
  • No holiday work required
  • Weekend requirements vary; details will be confirmed at placement
  • Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during this 13-week assignment
