MRI Technologist – Night Shift
About the Role
The facility's Radiology Department is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the team on a 13-week contract. You'll operate a GE 1.5T MRI scanner, performing approximately 30 studies per day in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour night shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday
- Typically one night on call per week and one weekend on call per month
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- No floating to other departments
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- ARRT (MR) – Certified MRI Technologist
- Previous experience on GE MRI systems
- Ability to start IVs
- Valid driver's license (60-mile radius required)
What You'll Do
Perform MRI scans, maintain equipment safety protocols, collaborate with in-house and online radiologists, and complete department-specific orientation. You'll work in a supportive environment with clear protocols and comprehensive on-site training.
Additional Details
- Dress code: Black pants, Royal Blue top
- On-site orientation required (even if initial modules are remote)
- Contract start: September 21, 2026
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
A valid Radiology Badge will be provided.
