Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a night shift position. You'll provide direct patient care on a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 18-week contract
• Start date: September 11, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, active RN license (Ohio or compact license in hand at time of submission)
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications
• One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from past 12 months; no peer references)

What to Expect

• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate training during your first days
• You'll need to pass both assessments; two attempts are allowed
• Annual hands-on competency modules required if contract extends beyond one year

Important Notes

• Background check must be clear; no open cases
• Drug screen (10-panel) within 12 months of start
• BCI/FBI background check must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• If extending beyond 18 months, a 6-month break is required before returning to this facility system
