Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a specialized L&D unit managing high-risk deliveries with two operating rooms and an on-site Level III NICU. The unit handles approximately 150 deliveries per month, offering exposure to complex obstetric cases and collaborative care.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (night shift, every other weekend as needed; holidays per unit need)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 11, 2026
Qualifications
- Current RN license with Nursys verification
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Scrub experience is a plus
- PALS certification required
- Standard health clearances: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit test, and health statement
Credentials & Verification
- Valid driver's license/state ID
- Two professional references
- Criminal background check and employment verification required
- Core competencies and unit-specific orientation completed during onboarding
