Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Baltimore, MD
We're seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel contract (with potential for extension at 90 contract weeks) on a high-acuity night shift.
The Unit
This is an active, high-risk Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) unit that manages a high volume of deliveries monthly, including complex obstetric cases. The unit includes two operating rooms for cesarean and surgical deliveries, and benefits from close collaboration with an on-site advanced NICU for neonatal support.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage per unit need
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Scrub experience a plus
- Active RN license (verified through Nursys)
- Two professional references required at submission
- Valid state ID or driver's license
Health & Compliance
Candidates must be prepared to provide documentation for standard immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza) and TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA). A 12-panel drug screen and criminal background check are required prior to start.
