Med/Surg Tele RN – 20-Week Contract

About the Role

Join the Med/Surg Tele unit for 20 weeks of winter coverage (13-week contracts also available). You'll provide care to telemetry patients on a medical-surgical unit, with potential to float to related units to care for the same patient population during high-census periods.

Schedule

3x12-hour rotating shifts: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) or Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; the facility will honor your preference when possible
Mandatory holiday coverage: at least every other holiday
Start Date: September 25, 2026

Requirements

18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg or Tele nursing (may be from one or multiple locations)
18 months recent Med/Surg/Tele experience (travel assignments count)
Permanent Ohio license or current compact state license required at time of submission
Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions honored)

Orientation & Assessments

You'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation. Both must be passed (you have two attempts maximum).

Application Notes

One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from the past 12 months) is required. Background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting (within 48 hours of contract signing) are part of standard compliance.
