Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Palliative, Stroke & Cardiac Monitoring Unit

Rochester, NY | Nights | 16-Week Contract

This 16-week travel RN position is based on a specialized unit managing palliative care, stroke, and Tikosyn (cardiac antiarrhythmic) monitoring patients. The unit requires a clinically versatile nurse comfortable with neurological assessment, telemetry monitoring, and end-of-life care in an acute setting.

Shift Details

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with a night/day rotation
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• No block scheduling; must remain flexible to the facility's scheduling needs

Float & Charge

• Required to float to other units as needed
• Must be willing to work charge; training will be provided

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience (2 years preferred)
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
