Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) — Travel RN | Burlington, MA

This 26-week travel contract places you in a specialized combined ICU/PCU caring for complex neurological patients. Shifts are 12-hour rotating days and nights, scheduled in 4-week blocks — rotation may occur every block or as needed. Guaranteed hours are 72 biweekly, excluding any on-call time worked.

Unit & Patient Population

The NCCU provides advanced critical care and progressive care for patients with serious neurological conditions, including:

  • Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
  • Post-neurointerventional radiology procedures
  • A wide range of neurosurgical interventions

Nurses work closely with neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists, and an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care across the continuum of neurological recovery.

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • Neuro ICU experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Float: Not required
  • Scrubs: Any color

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must have been separated from BILH-affiliated facilities for a minimum of 6 months prior to submission
  • No local candidates will be considered
