Emergency Department Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced nurse for a 26-week contract. You'll work 12-hour nights, every other weekend, plus two holiday shifts. This role guarantees 72 hours biweekly.
What You'll Do
As a nurse, you'll be the first clinical assessment point for patients arriving with trauma and acute medical emergencies. You'll perform rapid patient evaluations, determine acuity levels, and direct patients to appropriate care settings in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of nursing experience (non-negotiable)
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Current or very recent training and active practice
- BLS/ACLS (AHA), PALS or ENPC (Equivalency), and TNCC certifications
- MA license required
- Proficiency with electronic health records

- No float required
- Must have been separated from your most recent employer for at least 6 months
- Attendance expectations are firm, especially around holidays
- Must submit required documentation at time of application
