Cardiac Telemetry Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week assignment beginning September 20, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Up to 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
- Holiday coverage based on department needs
Unit Description
You'll work in a cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients with a range of cardiac conditions. The team includes nursing staff, patient care technicians, a unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor technicians to support telemetry patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following facility policies and protocols
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Coordinate care across multiple disciplines
- Execute physician and nursing orders
- Assess discharge planning needs and coordinate with the healthcare team
- Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment appropriately
Required Credentials
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- ACLS or equivalent certification
- Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding exams (pharmacology, specialty, EKG, core competencies)
- Required vaccinations and health screenings per facility policy
