Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Position Overview
Seasonal travel assignment in a busy operating room. This is a 13-week contract starting September 28, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pattern: Saturday through Monday, plus one rotating weekday shift
- On-Call: One evening per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM); weekend on-call approximately every 6 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Unit Details
The operating room manages a diverse surgical case load including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine procedures. The OR utilizes standard equipment and video systems to support safe, efficient patient care across multipurpose operating suites.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to circulate and/or scrub
- Strong communication and adaptability
- Patient-centered mindset with commitment to excellent clinical outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior circulating and scrubbing experience
