Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac & Interventional
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced special procedures environment. You'll operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direction of radiologists and physicians, working with patients undergoing vascular and cardiac interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stationary and fluoroscopic radiographic equipment for cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Produce quality images following radiologist and physician direction
- Demonstrate competency in X-ray, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, and cardiac interventional techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation protection and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Current radiologic technologist license/certification
- RRT (Radiologic Technologist) licensure
- Cath Lab experience required
- EMR experience within the past 12 months
- Strong knowledge of general anatomy, CR/DR imaging fundamentals, and technical factors
- Basic computer skills
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call Obligation: 30-minute response time; approximately 12 call days per 6-week period, including 2 weekends
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: West Burlington, IA
