Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac & Interventional

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced special procedures environment. You'll operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direction of radiologists and physicians, working with patients undergoing vascular and cardiac interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate stationary and fluoroscopic radiographic equipment for cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Produce quality images following radiologist and physician direction
  • Demonstrate competency in X-ray, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, and cardiac interventional techniques
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation protection and safety protocols
  • Provide compassionate patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • Current radiologic technologist license/certification
  • RRT (Radiologic Technologist) licensure
  • Cath Lab experience required
  • EMR experience within the past 12 months
  • Strong knowledge of general anatomy, CR/DR imaging fundamentals, and technical factors
  • Basic computer skills

Schedule & Assignment Details

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Call Obligation: 30-minute response time; approximately 12 call days per 6-week period, including 2 weekends
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Location: West Burlington, IA
