Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

The Opportunity

The facility is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a 16-week contract in its medical-surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide skilled nursing care to acute med/surg patients on a unit with continuous cardiac monitoring capability.

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with potential 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM rotation)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift per week, or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Flexibility: You may be asked to float to other units based on facility needs

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 1 year recent acute med/surg/tele experience (2 years U.S. work experience required for international candidates)

Preferred

• 2 years recent med/surg/tele experience

Additional Details

• Willing to assume charge nurse responsibilities (training provided as needed)
• Flexible scheduling; block booking may be available but is not guaranteed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Contract duration: 16 weeks with 112 guaranteed hours
