Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced OR nurses to join the operating room team. You'll provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment, managing routine and complex cases while working independently and collaboratively with the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and deliver perioperative care to surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify relevant resources
• Demonstrate effective delegation and leadership in clinical situations

Requirements

• RN License in Texas or compact state
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in nursing specialty preferred

Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Schedule: Full-time; multiple shifts available
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
