Registered Nurse

High-Acuity Med/Surg – Respiratory Care Unit | Nights | Concord, NH

This is a 13-week travel contract on a high-acuity medical-surgical/respiratory care unit. The unit manages complex pulmonary and medical patients including those with COPD, ia, CHF, DKA, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax requiring chest tube and Pleurex drainage catheter management.

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 shifts/week, 36 guaranteed hours)

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Clinical Requirements

• Proficiency with tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Telemetry competency required
• Minimum 1–2 years of med/surg experience; critical care RNs considered if comfortable with med/surg acuity and patient loads
• First-time travelers welcome

Certifications

• BLS required
• NHISS required prior to start
• ACLS preferred

Licensing

• Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at time of submission

Float Expectations

• Candidates may be asked to float to sister facilities in the surrounding New Hampshire region
