This travel RN opportunity is in a dedicated orthopedic unit providing care for post-surgical and ortho/trauma patients. The unit manages a wide range of orthopedic cases with a focus on recovery, mobility support, and drain management.

Shift & Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Start date: June 15, 2026

Clinical Scope

Nurses on this unit care for orthopedic and post-operative patients using equipment such as chest tubes, hemovac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA pumps, and Foley catheters. Typical procedures include drain removal and PICC line placements (coordinated with the infusion team). Patient care assistants support the unit alongside nursing staff.

Requirements

Active RN license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of current acute care orthopedic experience
Ortho or trauma background strongly preferred; Med/Surg experience also considered
Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teamwork
