Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Aurora, CO

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

This is a fast-paced yet intimate Labor & Delivery unit that emphasizes high-quality, one-on-one patient care. The team is collaborative, close-knit, and known for strong engagement and a supportive culture. AWHONN guidelines are followed throughout the unit.

Clinical Scope

• Manage laboring patients through active labor, induction, and delivery
• Perform OB and evaluate incoming patients
• Administer induction/augmentation agents (Cervidil, Misoprostol, Pitocin)
• Circulate for cesarean sections (required)
• Oversee recovery for both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Manage high-risk OB conditions including preeclampsia, hemorrhage, and fetal distress
• Provide immediate newborn care and resuscitation support
• Assess and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and contraction patterns

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: September 7, 2026
• Self-scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of current, acute-care L&D RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred; ADN accepted
• Strong OB skills
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
