CT Technologist – Night Shift
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday (12-hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 16 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
About the Role
The facility's imaging department is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night shift team. You'll perform CT imaging across trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine examinations for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient patients of all ages—from neonates through geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams per physician orders, ensuring accurate patient positioning and diagnostic image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Review patient history and screen for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
- Operate and maintain CT equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately in imaging information systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians on image quality
Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent CT experience
- Radiologic technology license (as applicable)
- IV certification/venipuncture skills preferred
- State radiologic technology license required
Holiday Schedule Note
You must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
