CT Technologist – Evenings
Location: Greensboro, NC
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM (5×8-hour shifts)
About the Role
The facility's imaging department is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-volume diagnostic and procedural CT studies. You'll work in a busy department handling 75 daily visits across 3 imaging rooms, supporting patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations with diagnoses including trauma, stroke, cancer, orthopedic injury, and general acute care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams per physician orders with accurate positioning and image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Review patient history and screen for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately in the charting system
- Perform procedural support including abscess drainages, aspirations, and chest tube placements
- Start peripheral IVs and manage iSTAT creatinine testing as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure diagnostic quality
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (ARRT-CT)
- Current state radiologic technology license
- BLS certification
- 1+ years of CT experience
- IV certification/venipuncture skills
- Proficiency with the facility's charting system

- Floating to other facility campuses as needed
