Travel RN – Cardiac Step-Down / CCU | Cleveland, OH

13-Week Contract | 3×12 Rotating Shifts | Start: August 31, 2026

This opportunity is in a cardiac step-down/CCU setting in Cleveland, Ohio, caring for critically ill and high-acuity cardiac patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced nursing support.

Shift Details

• 3×12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
• Candidates must be available for both day and night rotation

Clinical Scope

• Continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring with prompt response to patient status changes
• Administration of titratable vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drips
• Management of arterial lines, advanced cardiac life support equipment, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia intervention
• Rapid response and code participation
• Collaboration with cardiologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Patient and family education on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and risk reduction

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (or applicable compact)
• Minimum 1 year of critical care or step-down experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications — American Heart Association only

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• 2+ years of critical care or step-down experience
• CCRN or other Magnet-recognized nursing certification
