REGISTERED NURSE – POST PROCEDURE

Location: Cleveland, OH

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift Schedule: Three 12-hour rotating shifts (days 7am–7pm and nights 7pm–7am)

About the Role

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its post-procedure recovery unit. You'll provide direct care to patients in the immediate recovery period following cardiac and interventional procedures. Patients are monitored on medical telemetry, requiring careful assessment and clinical judgment to manage hemodynamic changes and post-procedure complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients post-cardiac or interventional procedure
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Manage pain and wound care
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
• Document care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on discharge planning
• Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year critical care or cardiac experience (required)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or other professional nursing certification
• 1–2 years of critical care or cardiac experience
