CT Technologist – Evening/Night Shift

Location: Asheville, NC

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

About the Role

The facility's CT department is seeking a CT Technologist to join an evening/night rotation. You'll perform a full range of computed tomography imaging exams, including diagnostic scans, ED trauma and stroke imaging, neuro, musculoskeletal, body imaging, and invasive cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging exams per physician orders with accurate positioning and image quality
• Prepare and administer contrast media; screen patients for allergies, renal function, and contraindications
• Operate CT equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to maintain diagnostic quality
• Manage pediatric imaging cases

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification (ARRT-CT) required
• Current state radiologic technology license
• BLS certification
• IV certification/venipuncture skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player

Preferred

• 1+ years of CT experience
• GE CT experience
• Invasive CT and cardiac imaging skills

Schedule Notes

Possible weekend shifts and potential rotation to another shift. On-call availability approximately 12 hours/month.
