Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Kingwood, TX

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

About the Role

Join the emergency department as a registered nurse providing high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment. You'll and assess incoming patients, manage emergent and urgent conditions, respond to trauma activations and codes, and collaborate with physicians and specialists on patient care plans. Your responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring patients awaiting admission or discharge, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
• 1+ years of emergency department experience
• Strong and assessment skills in high-acuity settings
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) preferred

Schedule & Expectations

• Work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• Royal blue scrubs
