Travel RN – ICU | Sioux City, IA | Night Shift

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hrs/week) | Start: Late September 2026

This ICU travel nursing role focuses on high-acuity critical care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, trauma, and neurological cases. You'll function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with intensivists and physicians to deliver comprehensive, complex care.

Clinical Scope:

• Manage critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic support
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips per physician orders
• Perform rapid response and code interventions
• Patient and family education on condition, treatment, and care needs

Schedule & Coverage:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend required
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses possible

Required Qualifications:

• Active Iowa RN license (or eligible compact license)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) — all required
• First-time travelers welcome

Preferred Qualifications:

• TNCC (required if extending)
• CPI / MOAB certification
• CCRN certification

Additional Notes:

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Driver's license required in profile submission
