Emergency Department Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join a fast-paced, high-acuity team. You'll and care for patients across the full spectrum of emergent and urgent conditions—from minor injuries to critical trauma activations and code responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and patient assessments to prioritize care
• Manage high-volume patient flow while maintaining clinical excellence
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
• Respond to trauma activations, codes, and acute deterioration
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Monitor and educate patients awaiting admission, transfer, or discharge
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Minimum 1+ years ER experience
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted
• TNCC or CEN certification preferred
• Comfort with protocols and high-acuity environments
