Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Dress Code: Navy scrubs

About the Unit

This orthopedic and spine unit provides care for patients recovering from joint replacement and complex spinal procedures, including knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries. The unit is supported by unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and navigators, providing travelers with a well-rounded support team.

Schedule Requirements

• 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Float rotation required

Candidate Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; strong orthopedic background required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Demonstrated compassion and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Advanced Clinical Skills

• Experience caring for post-operative joint replacement and spine surgery patients
• Comfort managing orthopedic equipment such as CPMs, SCDs, coolers, and assistive mobility devices
