Telemetry RN – Night Shift

  • Location: Cleveland, OH
  • Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Duration: 18 weeks (13-week option available)
  • Start Date: September 25, 2026

About the Role

Join the facility's telemetry unit providing continuous cardiac monitoring and acute nursing care for patients with cardiac and other acute conditions on the night shift. You'll interpret rhythms, identify arrhythmias, administer cardiac medications including drips and antiarrhythmics, and respond promptly to patient changes. Collaboration with cardiologists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team is essential, as is your ability to respond to rapid responses and code interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and escalate concerns
  • Administer medications per physician orders
  • Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond promptly
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
  • Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols
  • Manage a typical patient load per facility guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license (Ohio or compact state) – must be in hand at time of application
  • Minimum 18 months of recent permanent telemetry/medical-surgical experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification (active, in hand)
  • NIHSS preferred
  • Telemetry/EKG interpretation competency
  • One current professional reference from manager, ANN, supervisor, or director required (from past 12 months)
