Intermediate Care (IMC) — 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Intermediate Care unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic setting managing patients with mixed diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory conditions, sepsis, and multiple comorbidities.

- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (days)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Location: Longview, TX
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care using the nursing process
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided
- Provide patient and family education; identify learning needs and resources
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage complex patient situations
- Demonstrate competency in medical-surgical nursing practices
Requirements
- Current RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a related specialty
- BLS certification (AHA) — required
- ACLS certification (AHA) — required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing — preferred
Orientation
New hires participate in a structured orientation program with a designated preceptor and complete organizational entry and unit-specific competency validation within the first 30 days.
