Shift: Day, 5×8-hour (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join its acute care team. You'll provide evaluation and treatment services to patients across the care continuum, with a focus on swallow studies and communication disorders in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements
- Licenses & Certifications: Active California SLP license, CCC-SLP, and current BLS
- Experience: Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies; minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
- Travel Qualifications:
- 1 year total travel experience (6 months within the last year)
- Not a local (no San Diego assignment in the past 9+ months)
- Maximum 7-day return-to-origin window; no new RTO after submittal
- International candidates must have 1 year recent U.S. work experience
- Other: Interview availability same day and for the next 3 business days preferred; valid certification copies and supervisory-level reference required at submission
- Compliance: COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
What to Expect
You'll work in an acute care setting providing direct patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Pre-start modules (8 hours, non-billable) are required before your documentation due date.
