Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a travel RN for a 7-week contract. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. This is a 36-hour guaranteed position with every other weekend required and holidays as scheduled.
Clinical Scope
Requirements
- Active RN license (Alabama state or compact license; no temporary licenses)
- Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- TNCC required; CEN and RED CROSS certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years ED experience (18 months may be considered with strong background)
- Comfort in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Work Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours/week; every other weekend; holidays as required
- Scrubs: Solid navy
- Parking: Available
- Contract: 7 weeks, starting October 26, 2026
