Emergency Department RN | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13 Weeks

The facility's emergency department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work nights in a high-volume, fast-paced environment managing patients across a wide spectrum of emergent and urgent conditions.

What You'll Do:

• and assess incoming patients; prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide rapid nursing care including medication administration, treatments, and interventions per protocol
• Respond to trauma activations, codes, and rapid patient deterioration
• Manage patients awaiting admission, transfer, or discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response accurately
• Maintain patient flow and throughput in a high-volume setting
• Uphold infection control, safety, and de-escalation protocols

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Minimum 1+ year of ER experience
• Experience with protocols and high-acuity environments
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• TNCC and CEN certifications preferred

Contract Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-week assignment
• Start: August 31, 2026
