Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team. You'll evaluate and treat patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and functional ability.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• No weekends
• On-call schedule to be determined by facility
• Flexible start times acceptable with supervisor approval
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients using standardized, evidence-based assessments
• Develop treatment plans aligned with clinical and regulatory standards
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions: ADL retraining, therapeutic activities and exercises, modalities, assistive device training
• Adjust treatments based on patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Participate in care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students as needed
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient goals and progress

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Active Oklahoma OT license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• 1+ years of OT experience (LTC or rehab preferred)
• Experience with EMR/documentation systems
