CT Technologist – 12-Hour Night Shift

Location: Canton, GA

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Contract Duration: 16 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the imaging department on night shift. You'll perform computed tomography exams per physician orders, ensuring accurate patient positioning and diagnostic image quality. This role includes contrast media administration, patient screening for contraindications, and equipment operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging studies with attention to positioning, technique, and image quality
  • Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Review patient history and screen for allergies, renal function, and contraindications
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in imaging information systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver diagnostic-quality imaging
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification; ARRT-CT certification required
  • State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years recent CT experience
  • BLS certification
  • IV certification/venipuncture skills

Holiday Commitment

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
