ICU Registered Nurse — Travel Contract

Asheville, NC | Nights | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is in an intensive care unit managing critically ill patients who require complex, high-acuity nursing care. The unit supports patients on advanced life support, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial and central lines, and titratable vasoactive and sedation drips.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM (night shift)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract | Start date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Continuous assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients, with timely escalation of care
• Management of vasoactive drips, sedation protocols, and advanced airway support
• Participation in rapid response and code interventions
• Collaboration with intensivists and an interdisciplinary care team
• Patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and plan of care
• Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or applicable compact)
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• BLS and ACLS required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience
• Proficiency with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and titratable drips
