CT Technologist – Night Shift
Location: Evans, GA
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 25, 2026
About the Role
The facility's radiology department is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography and general radiography exams. You'll work nights in a busy imaging environment, managing a variety of general CT and X-ray procedures while maintaining high diagnostic standards and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams per physician orders, ensuring accurate positioning and optimal image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered; monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Review patient history and screen for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately and maintain patient records in the facility's systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians on diagnostic imaging quality
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
- ARRT CT certification required or preferred (candidates with strong radiography backgrounds may be considered and trained in CT)
- Current state radiologic technology license
- BLS certification
- 1+ years of CT experience preferred
- IV certification/venipuncture skills preferred
- Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program
Schedule
Two positions available: One covering Sunday–Tuesday; one covering Wednesday–Friday.
Dress Code: Dark heather grey scrubs
