Electrophysiology Technician
Location: Des Moines, IA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4×10 hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 AM start, 40 hours/week with rotating day off
- Call: None
- Weekends: No weekend requirements
About the Role
You'll support the electrophysiology lab, assisting with EP procedures, device implants, ablations, and electrogram monitoring. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.
Requirements
- ARRT certification (required)
- Minimum 12 months current EP experience (required)
- 24 months EP experience (highly preferred)
- Stimulation (stim) experience (required)
- Cardiac catheterization lab experience (preferred)
- RCIS or RCES certification (preferred)
- Travel experience (highly preferred)
- Valid driver's license
Important Notes
- You may be floated across Des Moines campuses to similar units.
- You are required to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
