Location: Savannah, GA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
About the Role
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging examinations across all clinical areas. You'll work in a busy imaging department performing routine and advanced CT studies, preparing and administering contrast media, and collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams per physician orders, ensuring accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Review patient history and screen for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
- Operate and maintain CT equipment; troubleshoot technical issues
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS systems
- Communicate with the clinical team to support diagnostic quality
Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- BLS certification required
- State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
- 1+ years of CT experience preferred
- IV certification/venipuncture skills preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
