Location: Nashville, TN

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, days with rotating weekends and on-call coverage

Contract Duration: 16 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role

The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You'll work alongside cardiologists performing diagnostic angiograms, PCI/stent placements, pacemaker and device implants, and other coronary interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status; alert team to changes
• Administer contrast media and medications per protocol
• Perform scrub, circulate, and monitoring roles as assigned
• Ensure radiation safety compliance for patients and staff
• Document procedures, supplies, and patient data accurately
• Assist with post-procedure care, including sheath removal and site management

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• State RT license (as applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Ability to respond to on-call emergencies and rotate weekends
