Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

About the Role
Join the rehabilitation team at this acute-care facility as a Physical Therapist Assistant. You'll deliver patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the majority of your time (approximately 80%) spent in inpatient rehabilitation.
What You'll Do
- Assist with treatment of general orthopedic injuries, sports-related trauma, wound care, and neurological conditions
- Support patients recovering from fractures and other acute injuries
- Work alongside 2 full-time PT staff members who provide oversight and mentorship
- Treat approximately 7 patients per day across inpatient and outpatient departments
- Participate in orientation and may precept new staff as needed
Clinical Population
You'll work with patients in acute, observation, and skilled nursing settings. The patient population is stable and non-acutely ill. Specialized cases are referred to the sister facility for advanced care.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- Texas state license and national PT licensure
- Inpatient and/or outpatient PT experience preferred
- Wound care experience preferred but not required
