Position Overview

The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking experienced RNs for a 13-week contract. You'll work in a high-volume interventional cardiology setting providing direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Shift & Schedule

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday
On-call: approximately one day per week (4:30 PM – 7:30 AM) and one weekend per month (4:30 PM Friday – 7:30 AM Monday)
Self-scheduling for call shifts
36 guaranteed hours per week

Unit Overview

The lab operates three catheterization suites plus a holding area for inpatients and a radial lounge for outpatients. The team includes 13 RN positions and 7 tech positions.

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with left and right heart catheterizations, coronary interventions (stents, angioplasty, atherectomy), structural procedures (TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO closure, Mitral Clip), mechanical support devices (Impella, IABP), temporary pacing, and mechanical thrombectomy.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license
ACLS certification
Critical care experience
Demonstrated experience with Impella and IABP management
Ability to titrate drips independently

Environment

Efficient, collaborative team with a good sense of humor. Ceil blue scrubs provided. No floating to other units.
