Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing
Location: Boston, MA
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: December 14, 2026
About the Role
The facility seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join the pediatric team, specializing in feeding and swallowing disorders. You'll provide direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting clinical feeding evaluations and modified barium swallow studies (MBS).
Required Experience & Credentials
- 3+ years of pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
- MA State SLP Licensure
- ASHA Certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Independent clinical practice capability
Preferred Qualifications
- NICU, pediatric inpatient floor, or pediatric ICU experience
- Tracheostomy and ventilator management experience
- Outpatient clinical feeding evaluation expertise
- FEES competency
What You'll Do
- Conduct swallowing evaluations and modified barium swallow studies
- Provide feeding therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in team meetings during work hours
- Adhere to departmental standards for patient care and documentation
- Complete SLP department training and competency sign-off upon start
Work Environment
You'll report to the Pediatric SLP Section Leader and work flexibly across inpatient care, outpatient care, and diagnostic imaging. Clinical flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.
