Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM–3:00 PM, flexible start times with supervisor approval)

On-Call/Weekends: No weekend requirements; if a holiday falls on a weekday, you may make up hours on the weekend at your discretion.

About the Role

The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the rehabilitation team. You'll evaluate and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs, developing individualized plans of care based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients; adjust treatment plans based on progress
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, assistive device training, and wound care
• Document all clinical information in the electronic health record per regulatory requirements
• Communicate treatment progress, barriers, and outcomes with the care team
• Provide patient and family counseling on physical disorders and home management
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed
• Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and required in-services
• Maintain adherence to APTA standards and Missouri state practice acts

Requirements

• Missouri Physical Therapist License (required)
• Minimum 1 year PT experience (required)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience (required)
• New graduates welcome with Level II clinical experience (not observation-only)
