Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse — Nights

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Med-Surg RN for its adult inpatient unit. You'll provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses, from acute post-operative cases to chronic disease management. This is a night shift role with potential for facility-based float within your specialty.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: August 31, 2026
• All time off must be requested upfront

Clinical Scope

You'll manage 4–6 patients per shift, handling:

• Pre- and post-operative care, including wound management and pain control
• Medication administration and clinical assessments
• Monitoring patients with cardiac, respiratory, and endocrine conditions
• Coordinating interdisciplinary care and discharge planning
• Patient and family education

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact license)
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable per facility policy
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• CMSRN preferred
• Minimum 1+ years of Med-Surg nursing experience
• Ability to manage diverse patient acuity and diagnoses

Notes

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius. You will learn your assigned facility before each shift; float assignments may occur within a 15-mile radius as needed, primarily at the main location.
