ICU Nurse – Nights

Location: Decatur, GA

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

Join the facility's ICU to provide direct, comprehensive care for critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support. You'll manage high-acuity cases, operate ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, administer titratable vasoactive and sedation drips, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.

You will know your assignment before each shift and may float within the ICU specialty as needed to support patient care demands across the local network. All time off must be requested upfront.

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum 1+ years of ICU/critical care experience
• Proficiency with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and titratable drips

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and respond to critical changes in patient status
• Manage advanced life support equipment and central/arterial lines
• Administer medications and manage complex care protocols
• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams
• Perform rapid response and code interventions
• Educate patients and families
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
