ICU Nurse – Night Shift

Location: Decatur, GA

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: August 31, 2026

About the Role

You'll provide direct, comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment. Your responsibilities include continuous monitoring and assessment of high-acuity patients, management of advanced life support equipment (ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, hemodynamic monitors), and administration of titratable vasoactive and sedation drips. You'll collaborate closely with intensivists and the interdisciplinary care team, respond to rapid changes in patient condition, and perform code interventions as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCRN certification preferred
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• 1+ years of ICU/critical care experience
• Proficiency with critical care equipment and hemodynamic monitoring

Schedule & Staffing

You'll know your assignment (Decatur or nearby facility) before each shift. Float to specialty as needed within a 15-mile radius. All time off must be requested upfront.

No local travelers within a 50-mile radius.
