Location: Brockton, MA

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

Join the intensive care unit at the facility as a Registered Nurse delivering direct, comprehensive care to critically ill patients. You'll work in a multi-specialty ICU managing high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced life support, and rapid clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with escalation as needed
• Manage advanced equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitors
• Administer medications, including titratable vasoactive and sedation drips, per physician orders
• Perform rapid response and code interventions
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members on the plan of care
• Educate patients and families on condition and treatment plan
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years ICU/critical care experience
• Demonstrated competency reading and interpreting telemetry rhythm strips; telemetry test on day 1
• BSN preferred; ASN/Diploma accepted
• CCRN certification preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
